Dr. Erika Wasserman is a licensed psychologist who specializes in assessment of learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She also has extensive training in pediatric and behavioral psychology. Dr. Wasserman received her doctoral degree in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Her internship and postdoctoral fellowship were completed at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she specialized in assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families in inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Wasserman then worked for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare conducting neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents. Also, while in Chicago, she designed an aggression prevention program and secured grant funding from Children’s Memorial Hospital to implement the program in city public schools. After several years in Chicago, Dr. Wasserman relocated to Maryland.
