Traveling From Out of Town

If you are traveling to our office from out of town, it is possible to access the Washington D.C. area in a variety of fashions:

1) Driving (get directions here)

2) Flying
Silver Spring is relatively close to all three Washington-area airports including,
Baltimore Washington International (BWI) – (31 miles)
Reagan National Airport (DCA) — (25 miles)
Dulles International Airport (IAD) – (29 miles)

3) Train
Amtrak has service to Washington’s Union Station, which is a short Metro ride (6 stops) or cab ride (8.5 miles) from Silver Spring.
Once you’ve arrived, the Washington D.C. metropolitan area has excellent public transportation by both bus and Metro train. We are a few blocks away from the Silver Spring Redline stop. For more information check out www.wmata.com

We recommend staying in downtown Silver Spring on days in which you or your child is scheduled to be in the office. Local area hotels include:

If you decide to extend your trip, Washington D.C. has numerous other hotels which you may decide to frequent after the evaluation. However, downtown Washington attractions are still easily accessible by public transit should you decide to remain in Silver Spring.
